Forensic audit
When fraud, misappropriation of funds or irregularities are suspected, we investigate with method and discretion to establish what happened, how much it cost and who was involved.
A forensic investigation is not a regular audit. It starts from a specific suspicion, works with evidence that must be properly preserved and ends with a report the company can use to make employment decisions, recover losses or, together with its lawyers, take legal action.
The second half of the work is preventing it from happening again: corporate governance, risk management and compliance, with practices proven in multinational companies and adapted to the size of each organization.

- A significant inventory or cash shortage has been detected.

Frequently asked questions
Is the investigation confidential?
Yes. We agree with the client on who is informed and we work so that the people under investigation are not alerted prematurely.
Can the report be used in legal proceedings?
The report documents facts and evidence in an orderly way and can support the client's lawyers. The legal strategy is theirs; when the case warrants it, we coordinate with the legal advisor from the start.
